This is a website devoted both to departmental activities (language department) and to professional and personal activities of its chair, David McClave, the lone German teacher at Loyola High School of Los Angeles. Since 1998 Mr. McClave has been teaching all four levels of German:I, II, III, and AP German. Examples of motion picture and still images of units from German courses are to be found on this website, as well as a promotional video crafted by teacher and third-year students in an attempt to recruit more students for the German program at LHS. Many images depict the exchange programs, conducted in every even year, with Loyola's partner school in Hamburg, the Sankt-Ansgar Schule. This year's exchange saw the Loyola students in Hamburg from 6/25/08 to 7/16/08.
